Home Cured Gammon
A Hillstown Home Cured Gammon is simply a must for a perfect Christmas dinner. It’s just as important as the Free Range Turkey.
Our gammon’s are produced here at Hillstown and from pure rare breed pigs. We have lightly cured these gammon’s which makes cooking a lot simpler as there’s no need to soak prior to cooking. Our recommendation is to boil the gammon in a good quality apple juice or cider. Then cover it with honey, marmalade and cloves and finish it off in the oven. The flavours are amazing!!
