Beer Fed Rib on the Bone
It really doesn’t get any better than a slow roasted Beer Fed Rib on the Bone. It’s delicious beyond words. If you’re having a family occasion or a get together with friends then this roast is hard to beat.
At Hillstown we’re lucky to own a brewery which produces amazing stout and brewers grains to feed to our Shorthorn cows. They are produced here on Hillstown Farm where all our beef cattle graze the grassy meadows overlooking Slemish mountain.
This rib on the bone has to be the best for flavour and texture. Our beer fed beef roasts are aged on the bone for a minimum of 28 days which makes them naturally tender and juicy and is a firm favourite at Hillstown Farm Shop.
Ally our butcher will cut every roast fresh to order and is Vac Paced to maintain the freshness. When purchased please refrigerate or freeze in the vac pac and remove before cooking. It will be fine in the vac pac for about a week in the fridge.
